About Us

We exist to serve our community by providing a quality child care and preschool program.

The Summit Church has a vision to help grow and improve our community. Our mission is to provide a Christ centered education that allows children to grow intellectually, socially, physically, emotionally and spiritually. We consider it a joy and a blessing to be a part of these students’ lives.

Leadership

Jonathan Bartels

Director

Graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2018 with a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education as well as completing his National Director Credential on top of that. He served as assistant director, after-school program director, and interim center director at HOPEFul Beginnings Child Care Center and Preschool from graduation until moving to Fargo to open The Summit Child Care Center with The Summit Church. His wife Jackie teaches first grade at a local elementary school and runs the children’s ministry for the church.

Philosophy

Our philosophy revolves around creating an environment that will benefit children's development.

This includes learning through play, smaller group sizes, a balanced curriculum, and incorporating faith into our routines.
