PHILOSOPHY

Preschool

Our preschool program starts at age 3 and its main goal is to make sure every student in our program is well equipped for kindergarten. This goes beyond just knowing letters and numbers, and includes developing appropriate social skills and regulating emotions in an appropriate way along with many other developmental benchmarks we strive to meet. We use My Teaching Strategies “Creative Curriculum” to help guide our preschool time.

Faith

We believe faith is a crucial part of a child’s development. We are associated with The Summit Church and look to provide an education that helps our students develop spiritually as well. We believe that the Bible is true and teach it as true in all of our classrooms.

Learning Through Play

We believe that learning happens through play. While we use a curriculum to help guide our teachers and students, the most important steps children will take developmentally at this age is through play. We are intentional with play time throughout our day to help foster learning that is beneficial in all areas of development.

Ratios

While the state gives us maximum ratios of children per adult, we do our best to be under that mark. We believe that the more attention we can devote to each individual child the better they will be set up for success.
